How do I reheat my chicken?

Keep warm
Leave the chicken in the bag and, as soon as you get home, place it in an oven at 60°C until you are ready to eat (up to a maximum of about 2 to 2.5 hours).

Grilled products
Grilled products such as grilled wings, drumsticks, legs, kippeling and whole chickens are best heated in the air fryer or in the convection oven. This way they heat up properly and the skin becomes nice and crispy.

Air fryer
Set the air fryer to 180 degrees and heat the chicken for about 8 to 10 minutes. This depends on what is in the air fryer, of course. Check regularly whether the chicken is warm enough.

Oven
If you don't have an air fryer, the oven is also a good alternative. Heat the oven in the fan setting to 180 degrees, place the chicken on the baking tray and heat the chicken for about 15 to 20 minutes. Add a cup of water to the oven to prevent it from drying out. Here too, you should check yourself regularly. Every oven is different.

Microwave
Although grilled products taste best in the air fryer and in the oven, they can also be heated in the microwave. In that case, you can simply leave the chicken in the bag it came in when you purchased it and heat it up at 600 to 700 watts. With a microwave, how long this takes naturally depends on the amount of chicken in the bag. There is an exception, kippeling should not be heated in the microwave. It does get warm, but the layer of breadcrumbs around the chicken becomes soft.

Who are we

We are Jolanda and Maarten and we started selling stroopwafels on the market in 2016. At the end of 2019 we switched to grilled chicken, fresh from the grill. We soon came up with the name “Zin In Kip”. Just like with the stroopwafels, we also go for quality with the chicken. We use Dutch standard Better Life chickens from Dutch slaughterhouses. In addition to grilled whole chickens, we also have delicious legs, drumsticks and wings. Our Kippeling is also delicious, tender thigh meat cubes in a crispy jacket and nicely seasoned, you must try these. Our grilled sausages are also very popular. We also offer various sandwiches with Chicken Burger, Crispy Chicken Fillet, Kippeling, Grill Sausage and we regularly try out something new. We would like you to enjoy your visit to our cozy sales van on our seat or at the side table.
